Parallelogram Mounted Rear Roller

All models feature a rear roller mounted on a parallelogram linkage.

The parallelogram linkage ensures the rear roller maintains a constant angle when the working depth is altered. When used in combination with a seed drill the parallelogram linkage ensures the angle of the frame stays the same, which allows the power harrow depth to be adjusted without affecting the coulter pressure or depth.

Levelling Bar Mounted On Rear Roller

This means the levelling bar doesn’t need adjusting every time the power harrow depth is changed. When used in combination with a seed drill consistent coulter pressure and depth are maintained as the power harrow is adjusted.

Oscillating Frame

A feature on all Alpego folding power harrows, the contour following oscillating frame, which allows the power harrow wing sections to float up and down up to 10° whilst the headstock remains rigid.

(20° float in total). The wing sections can be fixed if required.

Bespoke Gearbox

The bespoke Alpego designed gearbox has:

• Large diameter bevel gears
• A high-volume gearbox casing
• A design that promotes excellent oil flow around the gears
• Market leading cooling, by allowing heat to radiate and dissipate efficiently

GEAR SWITCHING
Simple gear change to suit the rotor speed to the job in hand.

Lubricants

Alpego lubricants are made with specific characteristics to suit their machines, which ensures optimal lubrication and cooling.

CLOSE ROTOR SPACING PRODUCING A FINE TILTH
For the best quality finish, the 25cm spacing between the rotors give Alpego Power Harrows more rotors than many other power harrows on the market today with 8 blades per meter. Most importantly it provides a finer seedbed even in the most heaviest of soils.

Rotor Timing
Alpego Power Harrow rotors are timed to follow a precise sequence which reduces the load on the power harrow transmission and tractor hp requirements.

The Alpego BG rigid, DJ and DP folding models utilise the SFERA rotor and trough design which consists of heavy-duty ball bearings and a 37.5mm diameter hardened rotor shaft.

A solution for higher hp tractors, the patented TWIN FORCE TEK models (RMT, RTEK and DTEK) feature a 40mm diameter hardened rotor shaft and Timken taper roller bearings.

TWIN FORCE MAX DESIGN

The ultra heavy-duty option, suitable for tractors up to 500hp. The patented TWIN FORCE MAX models (RMAX and DMAX) feature a 55mm diameter hardened rotor shaft and Timken taper roller bearings.
